Venture

GoKunming

Stage: Established platform, online since 2005
Traction: Listings, events calendar and forums
Geography: Yunnan, China

English-language portal for Kunming, Yunnan and southwest China.

This venture may operate through a separate legal entity or independent platform, not as part of Yereth Consulting billing.

Problem

Travelers and international residents in Yunnan needed reliable English-language local information and community services.

GoKunming became a leading English-language resource for Yunnan, covering events, local businesses, news, travel, classifieds and forums.

Took over GoKunming from founder Chris Horton with Adrian Golobic in 2012 and has co-run it since.
